Ainjo is a 10-year Navy veteran, but that’s not even close to all. Her main passion is music, and it’s evident in her creations and artistry. Now that she’s in Southern California full time, she knows the time to pursue her dreams is in front of her face, and thus she’s proceeding full steam ahead.
Influenced by the likes of SZA, Summer Walker, Doja Cat and Amy Winehouse, Ainjo is all about colorful R&B music. You won’t find anything that sums her creative mindstate up better than her recent single “Tangerine,” a single that, like most of her creations, was inspired by her mother.
“I get inspiration from my mother,” Ainjo said. “She’s so strong and powerful and beautiful. I want to make her proud and myself proud with what I’m creating.”
Family ties aren’t the only thing on the Port St. Lucie, Florida native’s mind, though.
“I want to live a great life with my talents and art and I want people who listen to my music to know that they aren’t alone in their feelings,” Ainjo added. “Making music and dropping it is all for me but we are all on a mission for greatness and growth.”
Next move-wise, Ainjo is working on her first full-length body of work since 2019, and the banger “Tangerine” will be on it, she says. Visuals, networking and more fire music are on the cards for this incredibly talented creator.
“I’m just looking forward to everyone getting to hear my dedication and attention to detail in the new music I’m dropping,” Ainjo said. “I’m really excited. Be on the lookout for new music coming real real soon!”
