Soul-stirring, unconventional, and powerful—Frankie Parker is an artist who refuses to be confined by expectations. The celebrated singer, songwriter, and bandleader has once again captivated audiences with her latest album, BREATHE, a deeply personal project that chronicles her courageous battle with breast cancer.

Recorded during her chemotherapy and radiation treatments, BREATHE is more than just an album, it’s a testament to resilience, strength, and the healing power of music. Officially released in September 2024, the project has already made waves in the industry, proving that Parker’s voice is as unstoppable as her spirit.

One of the album’s standout tracks, “RITA”, an homage to the legendary Rita Marley, soared to the #1 spot on the UK charts in February 2025, the same month its music video was shot in Chicago. The video was directed by Grammy Award winning music producer Marshall Knights and co-directed by Erin Sedalia and Dwayne Surney.

Frankie Parker’s electrifying stage presence has made her one of the most sought-after artists in Chicagoland. From The House of Blues to the Grand Ole Opry and the United Center, she has graced some of the country’s most iconic stages. Alongside her band, The Gentlemen, she has maintained an impressive nine-year residency at The Bassment, one of Chicago’s premier live music venues in the West Loop. It must be noted that Ms. Parker is also affiliated with Chicago based record label Soulistic 360, headed by Arnell Newman.

Beyond the stage, Parker is a dedicated mentor, working with The Rhythms Project, a non-profit organization focused on nurturing young creatives in songwriting and vocal performance. Her influence extends beyond music, as she was recently featured in “Artists of the World: Indie”, a photography book celebrating groundbreaking independent artists.

With BREATHE, Frankie Parker has turned pain into power, crafting an album that resonates with warriors like herself. Her journey is far from over—it’s only the beginning of an era where her music continues to uplift, inspire, and break boundaries.
