For Westbannz, music has always been more than just a hobby – it’s a form of therapy. Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, the artist began writing songs at just 14 years old as a way to cope with the loss of loved ones. Now, with his new single “First Day In,” Westbannz is ready to share his story with the world.
Growing up, Westbannz found solace in the rhythm and rhyme. “Music was my escape,” he explains. “When my friends and family started passing away, it was the only thing that helped me get through those tough times.” That passion only grew stronger as he got older, leading him to pursue a career in music.
What sets Westbannz apart is his authenticity. “I stay true to myself,” he says. “I’m not trying to be anyone else. That’s what makes my music unique.” This honest approach is reflected in his lyrics, which often draw from his personal experiences. One of his most poignant lines, “I was locked up and you couldn’t even answer, now I’m on top came out a champion,” captures the resilience and determination that have defined his journey.
Looking ahead, Westbannz has big goals. “I want to be successful and use my platform to inspire others,” he says. “By sharing my story, I hope to show people that it’s possible to overcome any obstacle and come out stronger on the other side.”
To kick off his next chapter, Westbannz is releasing his new single “First Day In.” The track showcases his raw talent and emotional depth, promising to resonate with anyone who has faced challenges in their own life.
