Former Disney singer Jordan Pruitt says Miley Cyrus repeatedly mocked her appearance and performance skills while both were rising through the company’s teen-pop orbit.
Jordan Pruitt has accused Miley Cyrus of bullying her during their years as young Disney-linked performers, alleging that Cyrus and a friend named Mandy left her insulting voicemail messages. The claims surfaced after Pruitt commented on an old social-media clip involving Cyrus and other Disney stars, according to Page Six.
Pruitt initially wrote that Cyrus had treated other people the same way she treated her “back in the day.” When another user asked her to elaborate, the 35-year-old singer alleged that Cyrus and her friend Mandy would call and leave “nasty voicemails” criticizing her nose, teeth and choreography.
“Miley used to call me and leave me nasty voicemails with her and her friend named Mandy saying I needed a nose job, new teeth, and a choreographer lol,” Pruitt claimed in the exchange. She went on to describe Cyrus as “relentless,” while Cyrus has not publicly responded to the allegation as of Saturday.

The comments revive a chapter of Disney-era pop culture in which Pruitt, Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers were all building careers around the same time. Pruitt was known for songs including “Outside Looking In” and “Jump to the Rhythm,” and released two albums through Disney-owned Hollywood Records.
Pruitt has also referenced tension with Cyrus before. Earlier this year, she claimed that her 2008 song “Boyfriend” was written about Cyrus, adding another layer to long-running fan speculation surrounding the young Disney stars and their overlapping social circles.
After her Disney run, Pruitt competed on Season 3 of NBC’s “The Voice” in 2012 as a member of Christina Aguilera’s team before later stepping away from her recording career. In 2019, she also sued Disney, Hollywood Records and former manager Keith Thomas, accusing Thomas of sexually abusing her as a teenager and alleging that the companies failed to protect her.
