YSF Enterprises is proving that there is much more to building a successful fashion brand than simply creating great clothes. Following a major July run, Young Successful Fortunate (YSF) is continuing to expand its footprint across fashion, sports, entertainment, and athlete development. What started as a luxury fashion brand has grown into a lifestyle company creating opportunities and relationships with athletes at both the collegiate and professional levels.
And July may have been the clearest indication yet of where YSF is headed. Throughout the month, YSF connected with more than 130 athletes, generated more than $70,000 in event sales, expanded into new university markets, continued building relationships with professional athletes and entertainers, and officially launched YSF Sports.
For YSF founder James “J-Hood” Hood, the vision has always extended beyond apparel.
“Our mission has always been bigger than clothing. We’re building relationships with athletes early in their careers and creating a brand they can grow with for years to come.”
That mission was on full display during YSF’s first Summer West Tour, which took the company through Kansas, Colorado, and Texas over the course of 10 days. YSF brought its signature invitation-only shopping experience directly to athletes at programs including the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, the University of Colorado, Colorado State University, Texas Tech, SMU, Baylor University, and Texas A&M.
Nearly 100 athletes participated in the tour, helping the company generate more than $40,000 in sales from the early release of its Summer Collection. But YSF wasn’t done. During BET Awards Weekend in Los Angeles, the company hosted another exclusive shopping experience bringing together athletes, entertainers, and industry leaders. Hood also sat down with Sip & Marvel to discuss YSF’s journey, the vision behind the company, and what’s next.
The weekend also gave guests an early look at YSF’s upcoming Custom Collection, created alongside Creative Director Garment God. The collection’s blue denim set, black jorts, and leather flare pants have already created buzz ahead of their September release and are currently available for pre-order.
YSF’s growing presence in entertainment was also on display, with Funny Marco, Ari Lennox, Jack Funny, and Key Glock among the notable names spotted wearing pieces from the Summer Collection.
One of the biggest standouts this summer has been the Sleeveless Phoenix Tee. The $275 piece sold out twice within its first month, with the white colorway selling out in just four days during the initial tour. The blue, purple, and black colorways quickly followed. Then YSF brought the experience to Miami.
Over Fourth of July weekend, the company hosted an invitation-only luxury shopping experience inside a private penthouse. More than 30 athletes attended the three-day activation, which generated more than $30,000 in sales while giving guests access to Miami-exclusive pieces and the latest Summer Collection.
From Miami, YSF headed to Las Vegas for NBA Summer League, where NBA rookies and emerging professionals experienced the brand through another private activation. The company also continued its collegiate expansion with stops at Sacramento State and UC Berkeley, opening the door for more relationships and future shopping experiences in new markets. And then came another major milestone.
YSF Sports Is Officially Here
July also marked the official launch of YSF Sports, the company’s newest division focused on athlete representation, branding, marketing, media strategy, NIL consulting, and business development. The first client is Arkansas wide receiver Isaiah Sategna III, with YSF preparing to continue expanding its athlete network through the 2026 Personnel & Recruiting Symposium in Nashville.
The move makes sense for a company that has already spent significant time building relationships with athletes before they reach the professional level. YSF isn’t simply looking to dress athletes. The company is looking to build with them. That distinction could become one of the biggest parts of YSF’s story moving forward.
With Invest Fest, new athlete announcements, YSF Weekend Charlotte, the September Custom Collection, and continued expansion of the Luxury Shopping Experience Tour all on the horizon, YSF is entering the second half of 2026 with plenty of momentum.
More than 130 athletes engaged. More than $70,000 in event sales. New cities. New campuses. New athletes. And now, a sports division designed to help take those relationships even further. YSF may have started with fashion, but the company’s July run made one thing clear… Young Successful Fortunate is building something much bigger than a clothing brand.
