For Cole Parkinson, music isn’t just about rhythm and rhyme — it’s about reaching people. Performing under the name CPTime (Cole Parkinson Time), the Pottstown, Pennsylvania native has built a reputation for crafting clean, high-energy hip hop and pop tracks that lift spirits, bring people together, and carry a clear message: positivity wins.
“I want to have a positive impact on all kinds of people — young, old, black, white, male, or female,” CPTime says. “I take pride in faith in God, family, sports, and my music. That’s the foundation of everything I do.”
His story started like many artists — small beginnings, big dreams. It was in a college dorm where Cole first started rapping for fun, finding his voice in the playful banter and freestyle sessions with friends. But when he built his own studio and performed live for the first time, something clicked. “Once I hit the stage, I was hooked,” he recalls. “I knew this was what I was meant to do.”
Since then, CPTime has put in the work — and it shows. With over 100 performances ranging from showcases and opening acts to MC duties at school dances, rehab center performances, and even halftime shows for the Philadelphia 76ers, he’s proven he can light up any stage, anywhere. On top of that, he’s released three albums, over 100 songs, and 10 themed tracks tied to holidays and community causes.
Still, behind the spotlight is an artist who understands patience, persistence, and purpose. “The biggest challenge lately has been getting my music to the right listeners and industry people who can help push it further,” he says. “I love creating, but I’ve had to learn not to rush it — to take the time to make every song sound how I want it to. It’s about trusting the process.”
And trust it, he does. CPTime continues to build his audience one track, one show, and one genuine connection at a time. His vision for the future is clear: stay consistent, keep growing, and never lose sight of what matters most.
“I see myself traveling, recording in new cities, meeting new people who can help me take this to another level,” he says. “But no matter where it goes, the heart of it all stays the same — faith, family, and music.”
For CPTime, clean music doesn’t mean playing it safe — it means playing with purpose. Every lyric, every beat, and every performance carries intention. “I want people to know my music comes from a positive and creative place,” he says. “No curse words, just real messages and real energy. There’s a lot to be entertained by — and inspired by — in CPTime music.”
In a genre often driven by flash, CPTime brings something rare: authenticity with heart. His songs aren’t just for listening — they’re for living by.
