Yvng Twitch: The Wild Boy of East Side Indy Drops Truths and a New Project

If you’ve spent any time in East Side Indianapolis, odds are you’ve heard about Yvng Twitch—even if you didn’t realize it at the time. He’s the kind of artist you don’t forget: all energy, all attitude, all heart. Some folks call him a “Wild Boy.” He just calls himself real.

“I’ve always been a bit of an attention whore,” Twitch says, grinning, unapologetic as ever. “Art was a great way to grab the attention I wanted, & my favorite art style has always been music.” That love affair started early. He wrote his first song back in middle school, but things really took off after a rough patch in high school. “I recorded my first song after getting expelled junior year. The rest is history.”

Spend five minutes listening to his tracks and you’ll catch what sets Yvng Twitch apart. He’s got something to say—always—and he’s got too many words not to say it. “I adapt my message to fit whatever the occasion, & it always sounds new. No matter what, I’m everyone’s favorite drink.” His lyrics snap with wit and honesty, like a favorite of his: “You see some worth in the dawg, but you’re Cruella.” You hear it and you know—this is a guy who doesn’t mind taking risks.

It’s not about shock value, though. It’s about connection. Twitch wants to be the voice people turn to, the artist whose music drops and suddenly everyone’s talking. “I want enough people to hear me. I want people to hear someone they can generally connect to no matter the situation. I want to be the artist people can say they wait on to drop.”

You won’t have to wait long. On January 1st, 2026—while everyone else is making resolutions—Yvng Twitch is dropping a new project, “4:18 AM.” He promises it’s “short, but sweet, & fulfilling.” New year, new music, same Wild Boy.
