Victory Da Rapper isn’t just another artist trying to make it—he’s already built a foundation of music, hustle, and heart that most people only dream about. His story doesn’t start with viral fame or industry hookups. It starts with a kid digging through CD booklets, not just to memorize lyrics—but to find out who created the music.
“I’ve always been more interested in the making of the music than the song itself,” he says.
And that obsession became purpose.
From Lyrics in Grade School to Producing Hits on the Daily
Victory started writing songs in the fourth grade. By 15, he was crafting beats from scratch. At 17, he picked up the mic. Since then, it’s been a full-circle journey—balancing life, family, and a music addiction he simply can’t shake.
Even when life threw curveballs—missed opportunities, financial pressure, and long pauses—he never stopped creating. “Music is a part of me,” he says. “I do something musical every single day.”
And these days? Thanks to technology, he’s back in the game full throttle. Not just as a rapper or producer—but first and foremost, as a writer.
“Writing comes first. That’s where the magic is.”
What Makes Victory Different?
He’s not chasing clout. He’s chasing impact. Victory’s music isn’t limited by genre or trend. He can cover any topic, flex different emotions, and still come out with something that feels familiar—but hits in a brand new way.
“I know a hit when I hear it from the first note,” he says, confidently but humbly. “I’m not easily flustered. I’m a natural problem-solver. Music is where I bring everything I’ve lived into something people can feel.”
He’s sold over 10,000 copies of his CD Famous Street, won writing contests, and produced beats for countless local artists—never charging a dime. Why?
“It’s my joy to hear my music on someone else’s song.”
Victory Is Up: The Movement Behind the Man
Now, he’s building a legacy with his own label: V’s Up Records. The name says it all: Victory is already up. And he’s bringing others with him.
“Throw your V’s up” isn’t just a slogan. It’s a statement of purpose. It’s about winning mentality, positive energy, and lifting others. The hand sign—two fingers up, pinky and ring—has become the label’s logo and a symbol of the movement he’s creating.
“When people finally find me, they’ll realize I’ve been ready. Now I want to give back like Adam Sandler does. Once I win, I want everyone around me to win.”
A Writer for the World
Victory doesn’t just want to rap—he wants to write for everyone. His goal is to become the top songwriter in R&B, with Grammy nominations to back it. He’s got over 500 songs (at least) in the vault and a dream of writing for both emerging and major artists.
But music isn’t his only gift. He draws, shoots and edits video, writes movie scripts for fun, and even works as a professional nurse. His nickname? The Unicorn. And it fits.
“People don’t know who I am—but that doesn’t mean I’m not the best.”
