Veni, a talented electronic music artist from Long Island, New York, is steadily carving out a name for himself in the industry. With a deep passion for creating captivating melodies, Veni’s journey into music began almost by accident. What started with simple keyboard experiments has now blossomed into a career fueled by inspiration and dedication.
Veni’s story is one of discovery and evolution. “I started making music about six and a half years ago,” he recalls. “What inspired me to become an artist was just playing the keyboard. I had a keyboard for a long time before I even thought about making music seriously, and I would always mess around with it. I wasn’t good at it, but one night, something clicked. I started playing and creating melodies all on my own. That was the moment I decided to download a DAW and start my journey as a music artist.”
Electronic music became Veni’s primary focus, and his journey has only grown since that pivotal moment. “I mainly focus on making electronic music. I also play the keyboard and sing,” he says. As Veni honed his craft, he found his musical voice and began to shape his sound into something unique. He has always been inspired by the way music can evoke emotion and connect with listeners, and it’s clear that Veni’s work is guided by this same passion.
One of Veni’s most significant influences is the late Avicii, whose music has had a profound impact on him. “Avicii is my sole musical influence,” he explains. “His music is timeless to me, and it inspires me every time I work on something new. Every track I make is a reflection of the way his music made me feel. It was always something that pushed me to strive for more.”
To further develop his skills, Veni pursued sound design engineering at the SAE Institute in New York City, where he graduated in 2023. His education laid the foundation for his career, and Veni’s next step was to work at the renowned Jungle City Studios, a space famously associated with Alicia Keys. However, his time there was cut short in an unexpected way.
“One night, while running an errand for an artist, I was actually hit by a car,” Veni recalls. “I couldn’t believe it. They ended up letting me go after that, and it was a crazy moment for me. I had loved working there, and it felt surreal to be let go after something so out of my control.”
Despite the setback, Veni didn’t let the incident derail his career. He turned his focus back to his music, continuing to release singles on his own. “I’ve been working on my own since then,” he says. “I haven’t released any albums or EPs yet, but I’m definitely planning to release an EP sometime this year.”
One of the biggest milestones in Veni’s career so far has been becoming part of Puristlabel. “The most memorable moment for me has been becoming a part of Puristlabel and receiving a manager through it,” he shares. “It feels like a new chapter in my career, and I’m really excited about the future. The opportunities that lie ahead seem very promising, and I believe Puristlabel will help with the growth of my brand.”
Looking ahead, Veni remains focused on creating new music and pushing his sound to new heights. While he doesn’t have any upcoming performances scheduled yet, he is hopeful that live shows will be in the cards soon. “I’m always working on new music, and I’ve got plenty of releases planned,” he says. “As for performances, I don’t have anything set yet, but I’m hoping to have something planned soon. I can’t wait to get on stage and connect with my fans in that way.”
With the backing of Puristlabel and his unwavering dedication to his craft, Veni’s future in music is bright. As he continues to evolve as an artist and expand his sound, it’s clear that Veni is only just getting started on this exciting journey.
