Pembroke Pines, Florida native Nicodagoat believes that everything you want will happen if you put in the work, hence the title of his recently released project: All In Due Time.
“The inspiration behind my release is just being patient because your story is already written,” Nicodagoat said. “The life you want is all in due time when you know you put the proper effort in.”
Influenced by the vulnerability of superstars like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Drake, Nicodagoat sought and found like-minded producers on YouTube but kept the circle small when it came to the engineering front; his middle school friend Joe (known as THE HILLS*) has engineered his last three projects, which is certainly why they have come out as good as they have, Nico says.
“Us having a prior relationship has been great for the music because he’s honest with me when a take isn’t there all the way,” he said.
So what’s next for Nicodagoat? More music, to put it simply. Whether it’s a deluxe edition to All In Due Time or a standalone EP of summer bops, Nicodagoat has something ready for us, however it’s up to him to determine whether we are ready.
