TREZIE: The Anime-Inspired Hyperpop Star Redefining Las Vegas’ Music Scene
In the heart of Las Vegas, a new voice is emerging that’s unlike anything the music world has heard before. TREZIE, a 21-year-old hyperpop sensation, is blending sweet falsettos with edgy, high-pitched tones to create a sound that’s entirely her own—and completely unexpected.
“This isn’t just pop music,” TREZIE explains. “It’s a sound never heard before, entirely my own, and COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED.” Standing at just 4’11”, this powerhouse performer may be small in stature, but her personality and vocal presence are anything but.
A First-Generation Journey
TREZIE’s story begins in San Francisco, where she grew up as an only child and a first-generation Asian American. Both of her parents are Vietnamese immigrants who came to America in search of a better life, a journey that profoundly shaped TREZIE’s worldview. Raised bilingual and navigating between cultures, expectations, and identities, she attended Catholic school through eighth grade before moving on to an all-girls high school—experiences that developed her independence and self-confidence.
“I discovered musical theater at the age of five and instantly fell in love with performing,” she recalls. “That passion stayed with me throughout my life—I continued doing musical theater through high school, along with consistent training.”
The Kawaii-Core Pop Princess
TREZIE describes herself as “a character, an anime-inspired, kawaii-core pop star made to entertain everyone.” Her unique blend of Hyper Pop, Alt pop, and kawaii pop draws influence from a diverse array of artists including Kpop, Grimes, Doja Cat, Britney Spears, and Bambee. But what truly sets her apart is her natural vocal ability—she can hit high-pitched, anime-like tones that sound autotuned but are completely organic.
“I have a very strong, disciplined voice, and I can sing in a variety of styles,” TREZIE notes. “One of my favorite fun facts is that I can hit these anime-like tones naturally. It’s a hidden talent that always surprises people!”
Her TikTok community has embraced this unique quality, dubbing her “Britney Amane”—a combination of Britney Spears and anime character Misa Amane. “That was my most memorable moment so far,” she says. “People are saying I’m basically the popstar living version of them combined.”
Working with Grammy-Winning Producer Tommy Marolda
Currently, TREZIE is putting the finishing touches on her debut album, created exclusively with Grammy-award winning songwriter and producer Tommy Marolda of The Toms. Marolda brings decades of experience to the project, having worked on iconic soundtracks like Rocky and Staying Alive, and collaborated with legends including Cher, Bon Jovi, and Imagine Dragons.
“His expertise in shaping sound across genres is the perfect match for the unique direction of my album,” TREZIE explains. “Together, we have crafted a 14-song collection that blends dance pop with popstar influences, set to make a lasting impact. Working with Tom is a dream come true, and we’re creating something that will truly push the boundaries of modern pop music.”
Ready to Take Over
After two years of working silently behind the scenes, perfecting every detail, TREZIE is ready to emerge. “I have been working silently for the past two years, finalizing/perfecting everything,” she says. “I am 100% focused and invested in this current project because I know the outcome. I have finished it, but now I just need to execute this properly so I could succeed accordingly.”
With her unique blend of Asian-pop-inspired melodies, futuristic production, and an unmistakable voice that defies convention, TREZIE is positioned to deliver a thrilling, jaw-dropping performance experience to audiences worldwide. Her sound is fresh, unexpected, and entirely her own—a true representation of a new generation of pop music that transcends traditional boundaries.
As Las Vegas prepares to launch its newest star, the music world should take note: TREZIE isn’t just another pop artist. She’s a movement, a character, and a voice that’s about to redefine what pop music can be.
