Toronto-based artist 6am has released his latest single, “For The Better”, a soul-stirring track born from introspection, spiritual questioning, and the bittersweet beauty of life’s unexpected detours.
Written during a moment of emotional unrest, “For The Better” captures the internal dialogue we often have with ourselves—and with a higher power—when life doesn’t go as planned. “I wrote For The Better because I was feeling knots in my stomach from the ‘what could have beens’ in my life,” says 6 am. “In a constant wonder, asking God for things and being steered in a direction I didn’t anticipate.”
With haunting melodies and heartfelt lyricism, the song speaks to anyone who has ever wrestled with uncertainty, offering comfort in the idea that—even in chaos—there’s purpose. “The song is made for those who question why things happen,” he explains, “and how wherever we end up, it’s for the better.”
“For The Better” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
