The Resurrection of Real: Lord Divine Turns Pain Into Power

Catch up with Lord Divine as he balls out of control in Ferraris and Bentleys in his new music video, “I’m Sorry,” a bold statement of triumph and transformation.

Bronx-Born, Hip-Hop Raised

The Bronx is hip-hop’s birthplace and the foundation of Lord Divine’s story. Raised in the Bronx River Projects, his life was shaped by both struggle and survival. From a young age, he was hustling—delivering newspapers, bagging groceries, and riding soda trucks before graduating into riskier street ventures.

The crack era hit hard, pulling him and his peers into fast money and dangerous cycles that led to violence, loss, and eventually, prison.

Ten Years Inside: The Birth of an Artist

A 10-year prison sentence in Ohio changed everything. Behind bars, Lord Divine turned pain into poetry. What started as letters and poems soon became rhymes—powerful storytelling that gave him a new purpose.

The music of The Notorious B.I.G. carried him through those years, keeping him connected to New York. Biggie’s death in 1997 shook him, but also pushed him to keep writing and sharpening his voice.

The Art of Storytelling

Lord Divine’s music is more than sound—it’s cinematic. Every bar is a visual, every verse a scene.

“When my fans listen to my music, I want them to be able to visualize my story,” he says. “Not just feel it, but close their eyes and see it. That’s the art of storytelling.”

Lord Divine Today: 5P Records & Beyond

Now an artist, entrepreneur, and founder of 5P Records, Inc., Lord Divine is building a movement rooted in truth and resilience. His latest single, “I’m Sorry,” is out now, with a music video that shows him celebrating success in Ferraris and Bentleys. But the deeper message is clear: transformation is possible, no matter how heavy the past.

From the Bronx River Projects to boardrooms and business, Lord Divine represents the resurrection of real hip-hop—raw, authentic, and unshaken by time.
