When it comes to hip-hop, authenticity cuts through the noise. And That boy Dom? He’s living proof.
The rising independent artist out of the U.S. has been quietly building a wave—and now, with his latest track “Gotta Few” heating up and turning heads, the buzz around his name is starting to grow fast.
Dom’s love for music runs deep. He grew up surrounded by the culture, using music as a personal outlet long before it ever became a career path.
“What started as a way to deal with pain turned into this real ability to express everything I’ve been through,” he says. “It’s more than just bars—it’s life.”
Dom isn’t trying to follow anyone else’s blueprint. He’s carving his own lane, and it shows in both his sound and how he carries himself.
“I think what sets me apart is that I’m me—on and off the mic. I’m not chasing trends or pretending to be anything I’m not.”
That commitment to staying real has taken him far. On April 6, 2023, just one year after finishing high school, Dom signed his first record label deal. Since then, he’s gone fully independent—but with the way his music’s catching fire, it’s clear he’s not slowing down.
“Gotta Few”, his newest release, is pure momentum—confident, catchy, and full of the energy that’s quickly becoming Dom’s signature.
As an artist navigating the independent grind, Dom knows the hustle firsthand.
“Progression’s tough when you’re doing it on your own. But I stayed dedicated. I kept investing in myself. I love this too much to stop.”
Looking ahead, Dom’s dreams are big—but grounded. He wants to sign with a major label, sure. But more than that, he wants to use his success to give back.
“I want to be successful, yeah. But I also want to be able to help out my family and the people I love. That’s the real goal.”
For now, though, That boy Dom is focused on what matters: the music, the grind, and staying true to himself.
