The beat is fire and was made by Buckroll, the recording was split between Phoenix Down Studios in Somerville, MA and So Ripe Studios in Lowell, MA, the latter also being the location where the video was shot. Dom Bruno, the owner of So Ripe and director of the video, made the introduction to Nino’s camp. They were feeling the song and everybody involved thought it would be a great collaboration. Nino is a super talented lyricist and he went crazy on his verse, and it’s also one of my favorite chorus’ that I’ve written so I think the final product is a great song all in all”. – SUMiT
The song also features Harlem, New York based artist Nino Man. At the age of 11, Nino Man developed a profound passion for hip hop, drawing inspiration from rap legends such as Fabolous, Jadakiss, and Eminem. This exposure fueled his ambition to become a “Hip Hop Legend.” However, mere aspirations proved insufficient.
Growing up in a challenging environment marked by poverty, Nino found himself entangled in legal troubles, leading to a two-year prison sentence at the age of 18. The hardships did not end there; during his incarceration, he faced the devastating loss of his mother to cancer, a tragedy that prevented him from saying goodbye. This profound grief motivated Nino Man to resolve to transform his life. Upon his release, he assumed custodial responsibilities for his three younger brothers while simultaneously pursuing his dream of a career in rap.
With unwavering dedication and determination, Nino Man continued to create music, drawing from his life experiences, which fueled his desire for success. With the endorsement of Jadakiss from D-Block, Nino persistently navigates the rap industry, witnessing his former idols evolve into peers, friends, and family.
