For Stormy Pascoe, music isn’t just something that plays in the background — it’s woven into the shape of their life. Growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, Stormy was the kind of kid who carried songs around like extra limbs. Some of their earliest memories drift with the voices of Joni Mitchell, Elliott Smith, and Bob Dylan, each spinning stories that taught Stormy how much honesty a simple acoustic track can hold.
Stormy’s sound lives in that tradition. They gravitate toward the raw, unvarnished expression of the singer-songwriter — the kind of music that shows up real and open, even if it hurts. “I’ve always loved authentic and emotional music, and I want mine to feel like that too,” they say. “When someone listens, I want them to see themselves in the lyrics, to feel understood. I want a connection that goes both ways. That’s what makes music feel honest to me.”
That hunger for honesty is what sets Stormy apart. Their writing isn’t about putting on a mask — it’s about letting the cracks show. “My favorite song I’ve written so far is ‘Don’t Call, We Broke Up,’” they say. “It’s all about storytelling and feeling at the same time. For me, that song really captures the uneasy, bittersweet reality of moving on and finding closure. It’ll always hold a special place in my heart.”
Stormy’s ready to open up even more with their debut EP, ‘Everything to Nothing’, set to release January 9, 2026. Every one of the five songs carries a heartbeat. “I want this EP to reach anyone who’s kind enough to listen — I want people to hear these songs and feel free to be themselves, to let their feelings show without apology.”
They’re not chasing charts or trends. What matters more to Stormy is forging a genuine link with listeners, and leaving them with that sense of being seen. “If someone can find a piece of themselves in my music, even for just a few minutes, that’s everything.”
