Rising House DJ Bre Nasty is reminding music lovers and enthusiasts of the power and relevance of House Music. Hailing from South Florida, she has created a lane of her own that infuses her southern roots and love for non-traditional music into a one of a kind debut album titled “Prototype”.
Bre Nasty brings a sound that’s as wild and unpredictable as the waters she grew up in.
Blending funky house with smooth, soulful grooves, she creates hypnotic rhythms that sound like Project X in the cosmos. Being heavily influenced by the likes of house music heavyweights Frankie Knuckles, and future house pioneers Tchami and Oliver Heldens, this 8 track project is exactly what the music world has been missing!
Crafted on the DJ board her father gave her before he passed, the project is how the rising star sonically channeled such an immense loss into a masterpiece. By transforming grief into light, and pain into pulse, she was able to understand that she is the “prototype” to the next generation of music legends.
“Prototype is where everything began for me. This was the first spark, the first sound, and the moment that I turned emotion into movement,” says Bre Nasty. It’s a love letter to the person who gave me the tools to find my sound and to the music that helped me find myself.”
You will feel moments of triumph and overcoming in several energy shifting uptempo melodies. The mixture of celestial synths, hypnotic grooves, and sultry basslines create a raw listening experience for music enthusiasts all around the world. Bre Nasty poured her heart, sweat, and tears into a life changing body of work that represents her artsy, futuristic, and free flowing creativity.
