Soldjah Nkay is an artist whose music comes from a place deeper than trends or algorithms. Born in Ukraine and raised in Portugal from the age of four, his life has been shaped by movement culture and emotion. That mix shows up clearly in his sound and his purpose.

He began writing music in October 2018. At first it was never meant for the world. Music was personal. A private space where emotion met sound. Every beat pulled something out of him and writing became a release. He made songs only for himself with no intention of dropping them publicly. That changed when friends heard what he was creating and pushed him to share it. From that moment on, music stopped being a hobby and became his calling. He believes this is what he was created to do and it shows in his discipline. He rarely goes a month without making at least one song.

Soldjah Nkay makes Trap and Drill Gospel. It is a lane that blends street energy with spiritual conviction. While he does not play instruments, his voice carries the weight. Singing is his tool and emotion is his weapon. His current influences include French singers David Okit and JD Imrah, while artists like Polo G helped shape his earlier direction. Those influences helped him understand how pain faith and melody can coexist in modern music.

His journey started simply at school. Sitting at a table with a friend listening to type beats and rapping other artists lyrics. One day he went home and decided to try it himself. He made his first song alone and never stopped. Growing up surrounded by other rappers in his neighborhood pushed him even further. Being around people chasing the same dream made it feel possible.

One of the most defining moments of his career came early. He performed his first song at school before it was even uploaded online. People already knew the lyrics because he had shared it locally. The crowd jumped sang along and fed him energy that he will never forget. That moment confirmed everything for him. Music was no longer just something he did. It was something he lived.

So far Soldjah Nkay has released only singles. No albums or EPs yet. That is intentional. He is focused on consistency and growth rather than rushing a large project. Every month he records five or six new Trap and Drill songs. Right now there are no plans for an album mixtape or EP.

His next release is titled In The Battle. It is a drill track built around spiritual warfare. As with all of his music, Bible themes and faith in God are central. His songs speak about belief struggle and standing firm even in darkness.

There are no performances lined up yet, but Soldjah Nkay is looking ahead. He already sees 2026 as a breakout year where he plans to release a large amount of drill music and continue carving out his space.

Soldjah Nkay is not chasing noise. He is building meaning. In a genre often driven by chaos, his music stands as a reminder that faith and fire can exist in the same breath.
