LOS ANGELES, CA — There’s a quiet magic in the way Shiivang approaches music. “Music was like air,” Shiivang reflects on his childhood. By the age of five, he had already synced with the natural cadence of beats that has stayed with him to this day and echoes through his music. He began a journey that would write a classic of a performing artist to recording artist– orchestrating over 200 entertainment events, several of them performing to 40,000 people in India, and now rooting in LA’s most prominent studios.
Shiivang felt the pull of something bigger, a world where sound could transcend borders. “I knew I had to leave if I wanted to explore what more music could be,” he says. And so, Los Angeles became his new home.
In LA, Shiivang dove headfirst into the world of audio production and recording arts. “It’s not just about playing music anymore,” he explains. “It’s about sculpting it—capturing the soul of the sound.” Having graduated from Los Angeles Recording School, he honed his craft, learning how to balance technical precision with creative freedom. But the real expedition began when he found himself in some of the city’s most revered studios, surrounded by Grammy nominated, Billboard #1 charting producers and engineers. “It’s surreal to be in the room with the people whose music shaped my own,” he admits.
Yet, despite the star power surrounding him, Shiivang’s focus has always been on the music itself. “You can’t rush sound,” he says. “It needs time to breathe, to marinate.” His process involves layers of preparation, refining every element before the first note is recorded. In other words, as Shiivang would give an analogy, “Studio sessions are referred to as cook-ups, but the marination before the cook-up is where the game changes” He understands the slow, deliberate crafting of music that allows each track to grow into its own story.
The results speak for themselves. Shiivang’s work has earned him a reputation for bringing an artist’s vision to life with breathtaking clarity. “Every track I work on, it’s like I’m stepping into someone else’s world,” he explains. “My job is to help them find their sound, but also make it resonate beyond the studio.”
Despite his technical mastery, Shiivang’s music retains something deeply personal. His roots in India, the rhythms of his childhood, are woven into the fabric of every project. “Even in the most modern beats, you can hear a hint of where I come from,” he says softly. “That flow never leaves you—it’s part of your heartbeat.” Further, he hinted towards a full length album, “Soulidified, is more than just a collection of tracks—it’s a story of a musician who has blended his heritage with ever-changing sounds of hip-hop and R&B.”
As Shiivang looks toward the future, his goal is simple but profound: to create music that endures. “Trends come and go, but true sound—sound that speaks to the soul—that’s timeless,” he reflects. In a city where success is often fleeting, Shiivang is crafting something meant to last. Not just music, but moments—each track a piece of a legacy that stretches far beyond the walls of any studio.
