DMV artist Forever returns with a powerful new project titled Recovery is a deeply personal and cinematic journey of healing, reflection, and growth. Known for his raw lyricism and emotionally rich storytelling, Forever describes Recovery as “a rebirth… a new chapter,” signaling a turning point in his creative life.
Recorded entirely on a 20-year-old computer in his home studio, the album is a gritty, real-life testament to perseverance. There are no features but just Forever and a carefully curated team of producers, including Fish and Evan Cannon, who helped shape the sonic backbone of the project. Executive produced by Fish, Recovery is intentionally more structured and emotionally weighty than any of Forever’s previous work.
Notably, Forever freestyled each track straight from the heart. The result is an album filled with vivid memories, intrusive thoughts, and honest storytelling that speaks directly to those fighting silent battles of their own. With more visuals and a follow-up project already in the works, Forever is just getting started. Recovery isn’t just an album—it’s the seed of something much bigger.
