Washington, DC – Rising music and film talent Visionz2turnt, also known as Javon Everett, is building buzz with his upcoming single “In My Head”, a deeply reflective track that touches on overthinking and commitment in relationships. Though the song is yet to be released, the artist promises it’ll resonate with anyone navigating love, self-doubt, or solitude.
Drawing from personal experience, Visionz2turnt shares, “It’s for anyone who’s ever been afraid to fully commit because they’re stuck in their head.”
Known for his lyrical storytelling and emotional depth, the rapper credits legends like Tupac, Eminem, and Lil Wayne for shaping his sound. But his creativity doesn’t stop with music—he’s also gaining recognition in the film world.
“Acting challenged me to express emotion without lyrics,” he said about transitioning into acting. “But it’s been incredibly rewarding.”
From scoring 22 festival wins with his song “Embers” to delivering a standout performance at a music festival, his momentum hasn’t slowed. Visionz2turnt now prepares to take the lead in an upcoming Sarah Tuck Productions film, a music-meets-drama project set to start filming in the coming weeks.
The multi-hyphenate artist—also a dedicated father of seven—says everything he does is to inspire his kids and fans to push past struggles and embrace who they are.
Stay tuned for his upcoming collabs and music video drops.
