Following seemingly tumultuous times after the release of SR3MM, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi revealed that they were indeed still together and working on not only solo albums, but a Rae Sremmurd album in March of 2019. Of course after that, they ended up taking a long break, likely partly due to the pandemic and some personal issues.
In June of 2022 though, they announced their return. The duo confirmed that they were going to put out SREMM 4 LIFE and after taking months to drop a bunch of singles, tonight the album is finally out worldwide.
