Rising 17-Year-Old R&B sensation PRAXTON is ready to heat up the summer with the release of his highly anticipated single, “I LIKE THE WAY (Kissing Game).” The remake of the classic song is globally available today on all streaming and download platforms, via the GMG1/CMORE5 label partnership with the SRG-ILS/Virgin Music label imprint.

The release marks a milestone in Praxton’s career—a distribution deal facilitated through Music Matters Entertainment by music industry Executive and family mentor, Uncle Craig Davis—solidifying a path forward for one of R&B’s most promising young stars. The single is a fresh take on the iconic 90’s hit originally written by Teddy Riley, updated with Praxton’s signature vocals and youthful energy. Produced by Grammy-nominated team The Trillionaires (KB & Q) along with Jamal Smallz, the record blends feel-good melodies, throwback soul, and a bold, new-school sound.

“This record is fun, it’s classic, and it’s real R&B,” says Praxton. “We’re bringing that feeling back—with a new voice and a new energy.” Praxton’s journey began at the age of three, singing in church and local showcases under the guidance of his father, a skilled musician and songwriter. At just 15, he linked up with powerhouse producers The Trillionaires, who began developing his sound and nurturing his rising talent. Now 17 years old, Praxton has already made major strides—sharing stages with Mary J. Blige, Nickelodeon’s That Girl Lay Lay, and WanMor, while performing on national platforms like the Peace in the Streets Tour and Youth on Violence Tour.

A decorated track athlete and honor student, he’s managed to balance school, sports, and the studio—all while building a strong digital fanbase. With over 1.3 million streams, 32K+ Instagram followers, and 52K+ TikTok fans, Praxton is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young voices in R&B today.
