MIAMI — Born in Miami and raised in the streets of North Miami, Papito El Franklins has transformed his life story into a movement that blends music, fashion, and resilience. More than just a rapper and influencer, he’s the visionary behind YFE — Young Finessers Empire, a brand born out of endurance and survival.
The name “Papito El Franklins” itself is unique, evolving from his early days being called “Bigboi.” A close friend nicknamed him El Papito, which later inspired him to adopt Papito El Franklins as his Facebook name. What began as a social handle soon became a defining identity.
From Wrongfully Accused to Building an Empire
In 2015, at just 15 years old, Deandre Charles — now known as Papito El Franklins — was wrongfully accused of the murder of Rabbi Joseph Raksin. Despite his innocence, he spent nearly a year incarcerated before being cleared of all charges.
Instead of breaking him, the experience built him. During his time behind bars, Papito began envisioning Young Finessers Empire (YFE) — not as a brand born from success, but as a symbol of resilience and transformation.
“YFE wasn’t founded from victory — it was founded from endurance,” Papito said. “I came home with more than freedom. I came home with vision.”
Today, every YFE drop and every Papito release carries the weight of that story — a story his community knows all too well.
Music, Fashion, and Movement
Papito El Franklins is currently making noise with his single Fresh to Death, while his full project Super Slimy Snail showcases his versatility as an artist.
His empire doesn’t stop at music. Through Young Finessers Empire, Papito is making waves in fashion, highlighted by a bold collaboration with Jwet Collection.
“Papito El Franklins might not be at the level of winning big industry awards yet, but the recognition in his city speaks louder than trophies,” said one supporter. “Most people are surprised he hasn’t gone mainstream yet — and that’s exactly what makes his come-up feel inevitable.”
Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Papito sees himself taking YFE global, with more albums, visuals, and collaborations that amplify his presence on major stages worldwide. His focus is not only on music but on cementing YFE as a cultural movement.
“The goal isn’t just to make noise in my city,” he said. “It’s to make YFE a global force.”
