Music is more than just sound. It’s a force—a powerful, healing force that touches the soul, moves the body, and connects us to one another. At least, that’s the vision behind PANICLE, an indie pop duo bursting onto the music scene with their vibrant energy and unique sound. Meet the creative forces behind the band: Thiradon, aka JOM (Little Little on stage), and Suthita, also known as Nooknik. Together, they’re on a mission to make waves in both the Thai and international music scenes.
The Beat Behind PANICLE
Thiradon, or JOM, wasn’t always set on a career in music. In fact, his early ambitions were rooted in Computer Science. But as life often does, a twist of fate led him to an underground EDM party, thanks to his older brother. From there, the rhythm hooked him, and the seed was planted. A few years later, after a pivotal moment at a Seven Lions festival, JOM traded code for beats and never looked back.
Meanwhile, Suthita’s musical journey began in a different direction. With roots in traditional Thai music, she started competing in singing contests at a young age. But it wasn’t long before her heart gravitated toward genres like pop and rock, leading her to perform in school bands and discover her dream of songwriting. Today, she’s pushing boundaries, working to merge Thai music with the international pop and RnB landscapes.
Together, their talents blend into PANICLE—a duo that isn’t afraid to mix genres, experiment with sound design, and create something fresh and exciting. With JOM on production and Suthita’s soulful vocals, they’re setting a new standard for indie pop.
Turning Challenges Into Crescendos
The path to success is rarely smooth, and both JOM and Suthita have faced their share of challenges. Starting later in life than most musicians, JOM had to push himself to catch up, dedicating countless hours to learning music production and DJing. Along the way, he faced criticism from peers and struggled with a lack of connections in the industry. But through perseverance and faith, JOM found his rhythm and recently hit a major career milestone—performing at the Wonderfruit Music Festival 2023, a dream come true for any artist.
For Suthita, her journey wasn’t without its bumps either. Collaboration isn’t always easy, and differing opinions with colleagues sometimes created tension. But through open communication and self-reflection, she’s learned to navigate these challenges, growing stronger and more self-aware with each experience. Today, she’s ready to share her voice with the world, bringing her passion for music to the stage.
Creating Music That Heals
PANICLE isn’t just about making good music; it’s about making music that matters. Both JOM and Suthita believe in the healing power of their art. They aim to create songs that speak to the heart—whether it’s about love, hope, or the struggles we all face in life. Their music is a refuge, a place where listeners can escape and find solace in the sound. With their distinct male-female vocal dynamics, they offer something rare and refreshing in today’s music landscape.
The Dream: Going Global
What’s next for PANICLE? In the next five to ten years, JOM and Suthita have big dreams. They envision themselves performing on stages around the world, reaching millions of fans with their music. Their inspiration comes from every experience they share together, fueling new ideas and songs that push the boundaries of indie pop.
JOM cites Seven Lions, Justin Bieber, and Ed Sheeran as his musical idols—artists who have carved their own paths in the industry, just as PANICLE plans to do. Suthita, too, dreams of reaching a global audience, with fans both in Thailand and beyond singing along to their songs.
The Message: Open Your Heart
PANICLE’s message is simple yet powerful: open your heart to their music, and let it take you on a journey. They may be a new band, but their passion and dedication are undeniable. Through their fresh, unique sound and heartfelt lyrics, JOM and Suthita are ready to share their gifts with the world.
In a world that often feels heavy, PANICLE offers a light. Their music is for anyone looking for a little bit of healing, for those in love, or for anyone who just needs a moment to breathe. So, take a chance. Listen to PANICLE, and let their songs speak to your soul.
