Oliver Wilhelm Boehm isn’t just another musician; he’s been living and breathing music since day one. Influenced by legends like Fanta 4 and Jan Delay, and growing up in the 90s, Oliver’s love for rhythm and sound runs deep. Whether he’s behind the drums or crafting a song, music is always the driving force in his life.
From rocking out in bands as a kid to producing in the studio, he’s seen all sides of the music scene. At just 9 years old, he had his first taste of the studio life, and now he’s back, working in Dresden on both his solo projects and with other artists. With his band, Skupina Astronawt, he shook up the music scene in Lusatia, blending Sorbian pop and rock with a unique edge. Now, he’s got new songs on the way, continuing his solo and band projects.
“Music is My Life”
He’s spent years on the stage, behind the scenes, and in the studio, and now he’s ready to fully embrace his own path. His journey is about making people feel something—leaving them with a smile after hearing his music. For him, it’s all about connection, whether it’s through jamming with a group or recording in a studio. Music speaks from the heart, and Oliver knows that better than anyone.
Bringing Music to Life: Behind the Scenes and On the Stage
With over 100 singles recorded and a hand in co-producing for a variety of bands, Oliver’s skills go beyond just playing. His music has even made its way into films, with one of his songs, “Ta ćma,” featured in a Berlinale documentary. He’s proud of his work behind the scenes as a producer and recording engineer, pulling from a wide range of genres to keep things fresh and exciting.
The Goal: Sharing His Music and Message with the World
Oliver’s music is for feeling. His songs reflect his experiences, dreams, and longings, and he wants listeners to connect with that on a personal level. His message? Focus on love, living in the moment, and finding joy in what you do. His music is a reminder to enjoy the present instead of worrying about an unknown future.
