Making another comeback and unveiling his follow-up to ‘Fuckrockers’, released earlier in the summer, Older Future showcases his new single ‘The Confession’. Bringing his hard-hitting electronica back to centre stage, Older Future reinforces his meaningful authenticity via synthesisers and ardent percussion.
Complete with allusive synth-licks and atmospheric breakbeats, ‘The Confession’ sees Older Future return as a constantly evolving, boundary pushing artist. Filling his sound with expansive rhythms, effortless percussions and pulsating sequencers, the release comes toplined with spoken word, a voice exploring the everyday anxieties of friends, enemies and everything in between. The release builds on Older Futures expansive artistry, drawing on the excitement built upon previous releases ‘Fuckrockers’ and ‘Mitch’. ‘The Confession’ sees Older Future return with his distinctive electronica, offering a thought provoking side to the genre that is rarely seen
Diving into the release, he explains, “This song was born from a moment of raw honesty, a conversation that blurred the line between paranoia and everyday thought. It’s a reflection on how fragile our sense of reality can be, and how easily we can slip into something deeper without understanding it.”
Quickly rising through the electronic underground, Older Future is quickly making a name for himself with his boundary-pushing, genre-fusion soundscapes. The brainchild of engineer and synth designer Alon Yaish, the project was inspired by local rave scenes, whilst drawing on Yaish’s traditional piano training. Since the release of his single ‘Shame’ in 2021, which has amassed almost half a million streams to date, Older Future has grown from strength to strength with new music on the horizon for 2025.
