There’s a version of TRAGiK that’s easy to see: the sharp delivery, the melodic hooks, the vivid visuals, the underground flair that screams New York even from upstate Rockland County, where he lives now. But then there’s the version you feel—and that one takes a little more time.
At 23, TRAGiK is fully in his element as an artist, not just a rapper or a singer. He blends the two effortlessly, weaving harmony and grit into tracks that sound like journal entries dressed up as bangers. And when he says “artist,” he means it. The bars are his. The hooks are his. The cover art? Also him. The vision is stitched together from years of sketchbooks, theater classes, poetry slams, and a mind that never seems to clock out.
“I’ve never seen myself in a lane,” he says. “I’ve always wanted to do it all. I still do.”
That mindset runs through everything TRAGiK touches, including his latest single “WANNA HANG?”, a personal and artistic pivot that calls back to his first project, CANT HANG, with a sense of clarity and distance. It’s not a sequel—it’s a reflection. A before and after. A coming-of-age story in three minutes. The track dropped in March with an anime music video on YouTube, giving fans a glimpse of where he’s headed before BLOOM—his upcoming solo album—arrives later this summer.
“BLOOM is about growth,” he says. “The way you outgrow people, ideas, even the things you used to think were holding you down. It’s me stepping into the artist I want to be, without apologizing for it.”
That artist isn’t worried about fitting in. In fact, TRAGiK has always been more interested in standing out. He points to Tyler, The Creator, Childish Gambino, and Lil Darkie as inspirations—not for their fame, but for how they flipped the industry on its head. “They showed that being different could be the brand,” he says. “That’s what I want to push. Not just my music, but a whole mindset for other artists like me.”
The name TRAGiK isn’t just a persona—it’s a statement. A character he’s created: a punk-emo version of Mickey Mouse, exaggerated and unfiltered, a lens to reflect the contradictions of real life. “If you’ve ever felt like everything hurts, but there’s still beauty in it, then TRAGiK is for you,” he says.
That duality—pain and power, chaos and clarity—is what gives his music weight. He’s not chasing hits. He’s chasing honesty. And that might be why his goals feel so grounded. He’s not rushing for label deals or flashing awards. He just wants to perform, grow his group C$W, and build a future where he can fund his vision, his way.
“I’d love to tour the world and come back home to launch a clothing line with my people,” he says. “Maybe even a cartoon or a show down the line. I want to make stuff that lasts, that means something.”
Right now, though, it’s all about the next chapter. BLOOM drops mid-to-late summer 2025. No features. No filler. Just a raw, evolving voice with something to say—and a sound that won’t sit still.
TRAGiK is just getting started. If you’re paying attention, you already know. If not… you will.
