Dakota Snow, known by his artist name KizoN, is a rising star in the Drum and Bass (DNB) scene. At 27, KizoN has dedicated himself to crafting a sound that brings the energy and depth of DNB music to life. Growing up, music played a pivotal role in Dakota’s life, and by his teens, he discovered his passion for Electronic Dance Music (EDM). This journey led him to become a music producer, releasing his first tracks under KizoN in early 2024.
“Music has always played a significant role in my life, bringing me inspiration and happiness,” says KizoN.
KizoN credits much of his drive to start releasing music to the inspiration he found from the culture of Drum and Bass. “The culture and other artists are inspiring to me,” he notes, highlighting the impact the genre has had on his artistic development.
KizoN draws inspiration from the culture and vibrancy of DNB, particularly the bass-heavy, energetic style known as Jump Up DNB. With a creative approach, he blends Sound Design Techniques, VST instruments, and a wide range of samples to deliver an electrifying experience. His August 2024 release, which racked up over 50,000 streams on Spotify, proved to be a turning point in his career, setting the stage for even bigger things to come.
Now, KizoN is gearing up for the release of his final track of the year, “Game On”, dropping on November 1st. This track marks a significant moment as KizoN closes out the year strong and prepares for an exciting 2025. Fans can expect new projects, collaborations, and even an EP coming in the middle of next year.
KizoN’s goal is simple: to bring listeners along on his journey while growing his fanbase. He dreams of performing live, gaining recognition in the U.S. and beyond, and building a loyal community around his music.
