If you ask around Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, you’ll hear people mention Keylon Ledet. But in music circles, he’s better known as “Never Landing”—a name that speaks to defying gravity, pushing past obstacles, and always reaching for something higher.
For Keylon, music isn’t just a passion. It’s a lifeline. Like so many, he’s faced his share of depression and tough times, and for him, songwriting became a way to vent, reflect, and heal. “I feel going through depression and other tribulations in life brought me a love for music,” he says. “I used it to vent about both my problems and successes.”
That honesty is what sets Never Landing apart. He doesn’t try to hide the struggle. Instead, he puts it front and center, making his music a mirror for anyone who’s ever felt lost, overwhelmed, or just plain human. “I feel my daily struggles are very common amongst other people in the world,” he says. “That’s what makes me different—I’m relatable to everyone.”
And it’s true. Whether he’s rapping about the pain of losing someone, the grind of chasing dreams, or the small victories that make it all worthwhile, Keylon’s lyrics hit home. He’s proud of many of his verses, but there’s one line that stands out from an unreleased track called “Dopeboi Magic”:
“If it ain’t Kobe and Gasol what you my man’s for.”
It’s a simple line, but it says a lot. Real friendship, he’s saying, has to be built like the legendary duo of Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol—on trust, loyalty, and the kind of bond that can’t be broken.
Keylon’s dream is to make it to the Billboard Top 100, but for him, it’s not just about the numbers. “I plan to achieve making it on Billboard Top 100 one day and having my message connected to everyone nationwide,” he says. At the heart of his music is a message: you’re not alone in what you’re feeling. “There are other people around the world dealing with these same problems and finding ways to overcome them.”
His latest EP, “Touchin Loads,” is a testament to that mission—a raw, unfiltered look at life’s ups and downs, and a reminder that even in your lowest moments, you can find power in your story.
Keylon wants everyone to come along for the ride. “We are Never Landing!!” he shouts, and you can feel the energy in those words—a promise that no matter what comes his way, he’s not coming down anytime soon.
Follow Keylon Ledet’s journey and stream “Touchin Loads” wherever you get your music. Because in a world that tries to hold you down, it’s good to have someone in your corner who refuses to land.
