Panasi knows all about toxic relationships and all about how to eloquently express their effects on him through music. Hailing from Maryland, some of Panasi’s biggest sonic influences include Frank Ocean, Noname, D’Angelo, Smino, Tyler, the Creator and Rex Orange County — but his biggest influence on his music is himself and his life experiences.
This is exemplified on his recent track “Hold My Hand,” where the creative discusses looking at a toxic relationship in the rear view mirror.
“The inspiration behind this track was the toxic relationship that I was going through,” Panasi said. “It’s about being sad that it ended since I kept thinking about the positives but I end up realizing the relationship is toxic.”
“I still somewhat missed that person, but I know it’s not worth going back,” he concluded.
Whether they are about breakups or not, Panasi still has music to be released for the world to hear. He’s got an EP in the works — with “Hold My Hand” serving as the lead single — and he also plans on dropping another single before the year is over.
