Rock isn’t dead—it’s just been waiting for someone to shake the dust off and crank the volume back up. Enter Low Country Jam Machine, the duo hellbent on resurrecting the raw power, swagger, and unrelenting energy of the ’70s rock gods. Garrett Ward (guitarist, vocalist, bassist) and Will Sanford (drummer, lyricist) aren’t here to play dress-up in vintage threads; they’re here to bring back the real deal—the kind of rock & roll that hits you in the gut and rattles your bones.

A Brotherhood Forged in Riffs and Rebellion

It started in a Nashville music store—two guys bonding over Zeppelin bootlegs, vintage recording techniques, and late-night Dark Souls co-op sessions. They were fed up with an industry more focused on social media clout than making great music, so they said screw it and took matters into their own hands. When Garrett moved across the country, the music didn’t stop—it just went remote. Then, when he returned to the East Coast, the duo locked themselves in a grimy rehearsal space and recorded the Holy Grail EP—a record dripping with sweat, grit, and pure rock fury.

Turning It Up to Eleven

Forget the cookie-cutter rock you hear today. Low Country Jam Machine is here to blow the doors off modern rock music. Will pounds the drums like a thunderstorm crashing through a Marshall stack, channeling John Bonham’s brute force, Dave Grohl’s ferocity, and Bernard Purdie’s undeniable groove. Garrett, meanwhile, wields his guitar like a weapon of mass destruction, summoning the sorcery of Jimmy Page, the swagger of Joe Walsh, and the face-melting fire of Joe Satriani. Every riff is raw. Every note is intentional. Every track is a middle finger to overproduced, lifeless rock.

No Labels. No Rules. No Bullsh*t.

After getting burned by the empty promises of the music business, Garrett and Will made a vow: No gatekeepers. No industry puppets. Just real, unfiltered rock & roll. From tracking to mastering to marketing, it’s all them—no major-label meddling, no streaming service algorithms dictating their sound. This is music for the sake of music, the way it was meant to be.

What’s Next?

With Holy Grail EP setting the tone, the next step is a full-length album and a handful of killer live shows—but only on their terms. No endless grind for gas money, no forced tours. Just pure, electric performances when and where they choose.

For those who still believe in the power of a riff, the crack of a snare, and the soul of real rock & roll, Low Country Jam Machine isn’t just a band—it’s a battle cry.
