Moultrie, Ga. — At just 18 years old, rapper Lil Frako (Vinson Edwards) is proving that persistence and passion can outweigh doubt. Born and raised in Moultrie, Georgia, Frako has been making music since he was 13, and this year he released his debut album 13 To Now, a 15-track project that includes seven songs he produced himself.
“My inspiration came from artists like Hunxho, NLE Choppa, Lil Mosey, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again,” Frako said. “If I’d never heard their music, I probably wouldn’t have started making my own or come this far.”
Overcoming Doubt
The journey hasn’t been easy. Frako faced constant backlash and ridicule in his early years, but he refused to let it define him.
“A lot of people mocked me and laughed at my music,” he said. “Some of the same people who doubted me are now showing support, trying to clout farm off my name. I thought about quitting plenty of times, but how could I stop after coming this far?”
Building Toward a Bigger Future
Frako’s resilience has already paid off. In addition to his debut album, he has released two singles—“She Lied” and “Angel”—on all major platforms.
Looking forward, Frako envisions himself as a mainstream artist with a global reach. “I want to do my first show, go on tour, and give back to people in need. One of my biggest dreams is to achieve gold and platinum certifications while traveling the world with my music.”
