Kvng Kee started making music back in 2016 during his freshman year of high school. Alongside his friend Nick and his late cousin Tajuan, who sadly passed away in a car accident in 2019, they began rapping and singing together in band class, where Kee played percussion. Their creative freedom in band class allowed them to brainstorm and have fun with music. The tragic loss of his cousin motivated Kee to pursue music seriously, ensuring that Tajuan’s name and their shared dream lived on.

Kvng Kee’s love for music was nurtured by his mother’s passion for R&B. This early exposure heavily influenced his musical direction. He draws inspiration from iconic artists such as Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, and Usher, as well as the timeless sounds of 90s R&B.
