San Diego, CA — Independent hip-hop collective KOAT Records has unleashed a brand new single and music video for “Mobbin” featuring Jojo2Faded, now available online. A street anthem packed with raw West Coast heat and underground grit, the track is a hard-hitting collaboration that shines a spotlight on San Diego’s rising rap scene.

On “Mobbin,” Jojo2Faded links up with KOAT Records — Oib1, Gideon, ZahZahZay, Lucas Ramon, and Profit Stopit — to deliver relentless bars and heavy flows over head-nodding production. The result is more than just a song: it’s a statement of authenticity from artists who embody the hustle and grind of independent hip-hop.

The release follows KOAT’s debut mixtape King of All Trades, a THC-fueled ride through the underbelly of West Coast rap. Blending boom-bap grit, weeded-out vibes, and flashes of old-school soul, the project solidifies KOAT as a crew unafraid to blur lines and break molds. The mixtape also features Stacc Styles of Suburban Noize Records on the adrenaline-fueled banger “We Ride.”

Founded in 2023 by Oib1, Gideon Moore, and Profit Stopit, KOAT — short for Kings of All Trades — has quickly grown from a DIY hustle among friends into one of the West Coast’s boldest independent labels. Known for their raw authenticity and tireless work ethic, the crew brings a fearless, genre-bending vision to both stage and studio.

Beyond the booth, KOAT Records is deeply rooted in San Diego’s hip-hop community. From curating local events to giving up-and-coming artists a platform, their mission is clear: bring real hip-hop back. No gimmicks. No filters. Just bars, beats, and community.
