Kima Is Ready To Show The World His Gift
Meet Kima, known on Instagram as @Thekidkima, an artist with roots that stretch from Denver to the heart of Romania. Though born in the United States, Kima was raised in Oradea, Romania, a place he proudly reps in his music and identity. His story is one of resilience, faith, and the drive to turn dreams into reality.
The Beginning
Kima first discovered his love for music at just 13 years old. With a natural gift for singing that he believes was given to him by God, he felt a calling to chase the dream no matter how impossible it seemed. The doubt and negativity he faced only fueled his determination to go further than most ever dare to reach.
The Sound
His sound moves fluidly between sad rap and soulful r&b singing, bringing emotion and vulnerability into every track. On top of his vocals, Kima is also a self taught musician, learning to play both the acoustic guitar and the ukulele. His ability to combine raw lyricism with live instrumentation gives his music a distinct and personal touch.

When it comes to musical inspiration, Kima credits three major figures. NF for his honesty and emotional depth, J Cole for his storytelling and lyrical craft, and Forrest Frank for his balance of faith and feel good energy. These influences helped him sharpen his style and push himself creatively.
The Journey So Far
Kima’s path in music has been a rollercoaster. He started out with a nine hundred dollar studio setup, facing constant complications and steep learning curves. Instead of giving up, he took it as motivation, teaching himself how to engineer and how to write songs that connect. A track that truly reflects that growth is “Look In My Eyes,” which he says is a clear picture of how far he has come.
