Raised in Orlando, Florida since the age of three, he grew up surrounded by sounds that grabbed his attention before he even realized what they meant. That early spark turned into something real, and now he’s shaping a name that fans are starting to recognize.
Finding a Love for Music Early
Kiko’s inspiration didn’t come from a single moment. It came from countless hours as a kid falling in love with instruments, melodies, and the feeling you get when a song hits just right. That passion slowly took over, and before long, creating music wasn’t just a hobby, it was something he knew he needed to do.
A Sound That Doesn’t Fit in a Box
If you try to label Kiko’s sound, you’ll probably struggle. Most people would put him under the modern underground rap lane, but he sees things differently. He doesn’t want to be tied to one style. He believes he can make anything from hard underground tracks to sounds influenced by rock and experimental elements. His influences reflect that blend: artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Pierce The Veil, and XXXTentacion all push boundaries, and Kiko’s music carries that same energy.
Growing as an Artist
What sets Kikoplayin apart isn’t just his voice, it’s the work he puts in behind the scenes. He’s not only writing and recording, he’s learning how to produce his own music and build his sound from scratch. He can play some piano, and right now he’s teaching himself guitar to add more layers to his future work. Every new skill he picks up gives him one more tool to express what he hears in his head.
The Journey So Far
Kiko hasn’t dropped a mixtape, EP, or album yet, but don’t let that fool you. He’s already released 10 singles on platforms and 12 tracks on SoundCloud, each one moving him another step forward. His most memorable moment so far came when one of his songs crossed 10,000 plays. That number wasn’t just stats, it was proof that people were listening.
What’s Next: The Art Of Kiko
The next chapter is already in motion. Kikoplayin is currently working on his first-ever EP titled The Art Of Kiko also known as TAOK. This project is more than just a collection of songs. It’s meant to show who he is, how he thinks, and the unique sound he’s been building. While it’s still being worked on, fans can expect it to drop late December, but definitely no later than early January.
Kikoplayin isn’t rushing the process. He’s building something piece by piece, learning, experimenting, and finding his voice in a space where being original actually matters. With a growing fanbase, a strong musical foundation, and his debut EP on the horizon, it’s clear his journey is just beginning and Orlando might be home to its next underground standout.
