WASHINGTON, D.C., and BALTIMORE, Md. — Independent creator, rapper, and founder of High Quality Frequency LLC, Gregory Walton — professionally known as Kamanchi Pro — continues to expand his influence across the music and entertainment landscape. Originating from Washington, D.C., and now helping lead rising artists out of Baltimore and Hagerstown, Kamanchi Pro remains a veteran force whose artistic longevity and business vision are shaping a new generation of talent.

Kamanchi Pro has been a steady presence in the music scene since the early 2000s, demonstrating an uncommon ability to evolve with shifting sounds and eras. From his early gritty hip-hop roots to the polished, modern production of his 2023 project No Guaranteeez, he has consistently adapted without losing authenticity. His collaborations with Nigerian hitmaker Dozobwoi and Maryland rapper SGE Heartless showcase that versatility — and now, he’s pushing it even further.

Today, Kamanchi is heavily focused on elevating newcomers OBEST and THE IMAGE, an 18-year-old rap/rock-influenced duo whose experimental edge represents a new era of hybrid creativity. Listeners may remember “The Image,” appearing as “Avalon,” on the 2023 release ACV. Their newest EP, TAKENOVA, marks a defining moment — fully self-created from the beat selection to writing and engineering. The project is now available on all major platforms.
