Jay Finesse 067 Set to Shake the Industry with Highly Anticipated Album “Finesse Takeover”

Mattapan, MA – August 2025 – From the streets of Mattapan, Massachusetts, a neighborhood long known for its challenges and resilience, comes an artist whose voice is impossible to ignore. At just 24 years old, Jay Finesse 067 has turned tragedy, struggle, and sheer determination into a career that’s quickly gaining recognition across New England and beyond. His highly anticipated album, “Finesse Takeover,” will be unveiled at an official listening party on August 16th, 2025, marking a defining chapter in his journey.

Born on August 31, 2001, Jay Finesse 067’s life story has been anything but easy. He lost his father to gun violence at just 10 years old, endured the devastating loss of his older brother to drug addiction at 14, and later mourned the tragic passing of his cousin to senseless violence in 2021. Rather than allowing these heartbreaks to define him, Jay turned to music as an outlet — and now, as a purpose. His new project is not just an album; it’s a reflection of survival, growth, and the unshakable will to succeed.

Jay’s rise began in late 2022, when he became one of the first brand ambassadors for Boston’s hottest clothing brand @mudbaby617. That partnership not only boosted his profile but also helped introduce his music to thousands of new listeners. Today, with over 47,000 Instagram followers and a fanbase that continues to grow, Jay Finesse 067 has built a strong and loyal community by staying authentic and engaging directly with his supporters.

In January 2023, he dropped his first video, “BODY MIC DROP,” followed by his debut official music video, “Sin City,” later that year. Shortly after, he began performing live, with his first major stage appearance in Providence, RI, organized by @vasjanzisi, where he opened for Roddy Rebel. That performance was a turning point, showing both his dedication — often driving up to an hour just to perform — and his hunger to be heard.

By Summer 2024, Jay’s grind was undeniable. He teamed up with his go-to cameraman @1Ryan — known for working with buzzing New York talent like The Sweepers — and began releasing music videos every single week. That consistency, paired with countless late nights in the studio, solidified his reputation as one of the most hard-working young artists in the region. The momentum only grew when he performed at several live events for @uprise_official, further proving his stage presence.

In October 2024, Jay Finesse achieved another milestone, opening for two of his biggest inspirations — Dave East and Albee Al — in Lawrence, MA. That same month, he linked up with the massively popular New York platform @hangtheline to release his single “Hoes,” which has already earned over 21,000 views on YouTube.

But Jay’s journey has not been without its hardships. On December 16th, 2024, his YouTube channel was hacked, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of nine music videos, including fan favorites like “Active,” “Fake Love,” “Memories,” “Back of My Mind” (ft. $hay Bandz), “Turnt,” “PSA,” and “Luca,” each with well over 10,000 views. That devastating setback left him in a depressed state of mind — but instead of breaking him, it motivated him to create “Finesse Takeover.”

This album is his reintroduction to the fans who’ve been riding with him since 2023, a body of work fueled by pain, resilience, and a hunger to prove that nothing can stop him. For Jay Finesse 067, “Finesse Takeover” is not just music — it’s a declaration of perseverance and a celebration of the journey from hardship to triumph.
