Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam festival has announced an exciting lineup for this year’s event, set to take place on June 4th at the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY. Headlining the festival is the Bronx rapper Cardi B, who will be performing her first proper headlining show in some time.
The festival, which has moved to a new location this year, will also feature performances from a range of other talented artists. These include Ice Spice, GloRilla, Coi Leray, Lola Brooke, French Montana, Fivio Foreign, Lil Tjay, and The LOX, who will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip hop with a special performance.
More artists are expected to be added to the lineup in the coming weeks. Pre-sales for tickets will begin on Tuesday (4/4), with general sales opening on Saturday (4/8).
Hot 97’s Summer Jam is a hugely popular event in the hip-hop calendar, and this year’s festival promises to be one of the most exciting yet. According to TT Torrez, VP of Artist and Label Relations, the festival’s lineup reflects the dominance of female artists in hip-hop this year, with a strong female presence throughout.
Bradford Tobin, President, COO, and General Counsel, expressed his excitement about the festival, saying, “HOT 97’s Summer Jam is a hip-hop staple, and we are excited to bring the most electric show of the summer back to NY for hip hop’s 50th anniversary.” With Cardi B and a host of other talented performers set to take to the stage, this year’s festival is not to be missed.
