Savannah, Georgia’s own Ky’$aun James is accomplishing many things on “3Dn,” his latest single: it serves as a teaser for his album, a showcase of lyrical growth and a major self-esteem boost.
“I tend to get in my head about what sounds good,” he said. “So instead of thinking, this song was born out of letting my pen go.”
“3Dn” was produced by Mackay Beats and Jaylondon; Cullen Granger assisted with engineering to give the track a polished sound that goes along with Ky’$aun’s top influences, such as Big K.R.I.T., YGTUT and Rapsody.
On tap for C-Port’s hottest up and comer is another album, this one titled BOUTTIME. He’s also got more shows and, arguably most importantly, improving on an aspect of his game he knows he has to.
“I want to collaborate with more artists and work on having better marketing,” Ky’$aun said. “That is my greatest flaw as a creator.”
With that mentality, it’s only up from here for Ky’$aun James.
