Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, emerging artist fathertristan is carving his own lane in the music world — one built on raw honesty, spiritual depth, and a mission to heal through art.
Finding Music in Isolation
For fathertristan, music wasn’t just a hobby — it was survival.
“Not to darken the mood or anything,” he begins, “but abuse and isolation as a child got me into music. I was alone with my thoughts and loved music. I had nobody to express my emotions to, so the only way I knew how to properly get things off my chest was writing what I felt in notepads and singing my 6-year-old self’s pain away.”
Those early melodies — some of which he still remembers — became the seeds of a lifelong creative journey.
A Voice from the Spirit
What sets fathertristan apart isn’t just his sound, but his intentions.
“My music comes from the darkest parts of my heart and soul,” he explains. “When any artist is able to tap into their spirit — whether you sing, dance, act, or paint — you create something truly unique to you. This power lives inside all of us. It’s just a matter of knowing yourself and following the divine vision God shows you.”
Lyrics from the Soul
One lyric that stands out to him defines both his vulnerability and his truth:
‘How to love, how to love, can you tell me how to love?’
“This lyric is everything wrong with me and everything I wish I could fix about myself,” he shares. “I was never truly taught how to love, and I’ve been dealing with the repercussions all my life. But I don’t blame anyone. I believe everything happens for a reason — everything in the universe is predetermined.”
Life as Art
With a deep sense of purpose, fathertristan’s music serves as a vessel for healing and reflection.
“I will fulfill my soul purpose on this earth,” he says. “I’ve had visions and premonitions since I was a kid. I won’t let my younger self down — everything I do is for my 5-year-old self and for people like me. I promote healing and finding yourself through art. Life itself is art, and true beauty will be restored when we all start viewing our lives that way.”
Upcoming Project: LIFE IS ART
Fans can expect to see that philosophy come to life in his debut EP, “LIFE IS ART,” dropping October 31, 2025.
The project promises to blend introspection, emotion, and divine inspiration — a sonic reflection of the artist’s journey from pain to purpose.
