She is now returning to the music scene with an upcoming second album in production titled, “Free-Spirited.” TaniA has since released two singles from her forthcoming album, with “In These Eyes” garnering attention for its distinctive genre-blending sound, which has been well-received by both music critics and enthusiasts. Following that, TaniA released “I Struck Gold With You” earlier this year, a heartfelt tribute to the power of love she dedicated to her spouse, Rynellton, who also serves as her music partner and manager.
The official music video, which was filmed and edited by TaniA Kyllikki herself, has garnered over two million views. The innocent, heart-warming love story between the power couple, who are creating major waves independently, is what people love about her. As well as her staying true to her artistry. Leaving a lasting impression simply by being herself, we have had the privilege of conversing with TaniA Kyllikki, the British singer-songwriter, about her extraordinary independent artist journey and the upcoming projects she has in the works.
When did you start making music seriously, TaniA?
At an early age, I began my professional recording career. Throughout my journey, I have faced numerous obstacles, experienced disappointment from others, and found myself in situations that did not align with my best interests. It is well documented that I have struggled with my health since birth as well, and I have also overcome past abuse from others. My musical journey has been a continuous learning experience. Since the release of my debut album a few years ago, I have experienced a sense of self-discovery as an artist. The process of making my second album has been even more amazing. I am not able to give away too much, but I can say that “Free-Spirited” will reveal a multitude of different levels of what makes me unique as a singer-songwriter, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.
How has your background influenced your music?
Music has been an inherent part of my soul since birth. However, the many difficulties I have encountered in life, such as personal loss and health problems, have greatly influenced my music. Personally, I want my music to always have a profound impact on people, much like other artists’ music has had on me. Music has immense power. Because of my humble beginnings, I have a strong connection to the world around me, which motivates me to write songs that reflect this reality.
Who are your biggest musical influences?
There are too many artists whose work has impacted my life to choose just one. Since I was a little child, so many have served as influences on my creativity and musical passion.
TaniA you and your husband Rynellton work closely together on your releases, and he has also taken on the role of being your main music producer and manager. Tell us what it’s like being married and working so closely together?
Working with my husband on music and trusting him to manage me has been the best decision I’ve ever made. We bring out the best in each other, and our musical chemistry is incredible. Given that it was music that brought us together in the first place, it’s amazing to work together and grow as a team. My husband only has my best interests at heart; he is very protective over me both personally and professionally speaking, and in a business that has a track record of having untrustworthy people out to take advantage of artists, he makes me feel safe, loved, understood, and protected. He believes in me and wants me to be the best I can be. And I can’t wait to do everything we’ve planned for the future.
TaniA,what would you say makes you so unique as an artist?
I’ve never been one to follow the crowd. I prefer to start trends rather than follow them. There are plenty of imitators in the music industry; I see no need to add to that. My style and voice distinguish me from others. No one in the industry has a sound like mine; I have my own unique voice, and I love blending genres into my music releases. And I’m just getting started; the world hasn’t even heard the best of me yet.
What does art and being an artist mean to you?
Being an artist, and what art means to me, is the freedom to conceptualise a feeling through my gift of music, an idea, or a moment, thereby enabling me to fully express myself through my imagination and bring these ideas to life. It is an amazing experience to be able to use my gift of music to affect others in a positive, enlightening way.
Where do you see your music career going in the next few years?
I want to one day get award nominations for my music, as well as have my songs used in films, television programmes, and video games. I aspire to expand the recognition of my music to a wider audience.

My latest single, “I Struck Gold With You,” has been incredibly well-received. I’m currently working on my second album, “Free-Spirited,” which will continue to blend genres and push musical boundaries.
