Esco is Building a New Era for Latin Artists in Canada

Toronto’s music scene is entering a new chapter, and Esco is one of the artists leading the charge. With Cuban and Salvadorian roots, he weaves Reggaeton, Pop, and Drum & Bass into a style that feels at once deeply rooted and refreshingly global. His sound reflects the city itself — diverse, bold, and constantly evolving.

The momentum behind him is undeniable. A standout performance at Live Nation Canada’s “Ones To Watch” showcase positioned him as a rixsing voice redefining the future of Latin music in the country. It wasn’t just a performance; it was proof that Canadian Latin talent is stepping into the spotlight with confidence and originality.

His debut EP Mismo Destino, released through Gorillax Music Group, served as the foundation of his artistry. Packed with raw lyricism and a fearless sonic mix, the project gained traction beyond Canada’s borders. The visuals, crafted alongside BLRI Media and Fibsion Media, amplified the music with a cinematic edge, creating a complete identity that set him apart.

Esco’s story extends offstage as well. Whether performing at Sankofa Square for Hispanic Heritage Month alongside Los Playmakers or contributing to artist development and marketing within GMG, his influence is both cultural and creative. His leadership reflects the same energy he brings to the microphone — innovative, dedicated, and unapologetically authentic.

The industry has taken notice. He was highlighted on CBC Music’s Juno Awards Blog as part of their “Encore: Artists on the Rise” series, a feature that arrived in tandem with the announcement of a new Juno category for Latin music — a milestone moment for the community he represents. With international outlets like Billboard now watching closely, Esco is no longer just an emerging voice; he’s the sound of a movement on the rise.

The Escoverse has only begun to unfold, and the world is tuning in.
