EDruM Is the New Sheriff in Town—And He’s Bringing Beats That Hit Harder Than Ever

If you’re into high-level electronic music with actual soul—and a beat that slaps—you need to know about EDruM.

Also known as Andrea Ge, EDruM isn’t your average bedroom producer. He’s an inexhaustible energy drummer, a live music veteran with thousands of gigs under his belt, and a boundary-pushing producer blending acoustic intensity with electronic firepower. Picture this: Daft Punk meets The Prodigy—with live drums and serious stage presence.

And yeah, there’s a mask involved. Because why wouldn’t there be?

From KISS Fan to Electro Beat Shaman

EDruM’s story starts like a lot of great ones: a teenager falling in love with loud music. “KISS was my gateway,” he says. From there, he picked up the sticks and studied under drumming legend Tullio De Piscopo, launching what would become a whirlwind career.

Fast forward to today, and Andrea has played over 2,000 shows across Europe, shared stages with giants like Deep Purple, Rammstein, and Jethro Tull, and collaborated with a staggering lineup of global artists—from Glenn Hughes to Cristina Scabbia, Sabrina Salerno to Jeff Richman.

Now? He’s doing his own thing. Producing fresh, genre-smashing music that fuses indietronica, progressive house, breakbeat, new wave, and beyond. Think dancefloor energy meets drumline precision—with a cinematic edge.

Yes, He’s Wild. But He’s Got the Credentials to Back It Up.

It’s not just flair and fire extinguishers (ask him about Tokyo sometime). EDruM is also a classically trained performer, holding a First-Class BA Honours in Music Performance from the University of Bedfordshire, and is a certified journalist in Italy. He’s got the chops, the experience, and the creative vision to stand toe-to-toe with the best in the biz.

Oh—and did we mention he’s now published?

New in 2025: EDruM just released a 250-page book:
“BATTERIA e MUSICA ELETTRONICA”, out June 16 via Dantone / Volontè.
It’s a first-of-its-kind deep dive into electronic music drumming from the ‘60s to today, complete with playlists, rhythm studies, and style breakdowns. An absolute must-read for forward-thinking drummers and producers.

What Makes EDruM Different?

Most drummers back the band. EDruM is the band.

He’s a one-man visual and sonic force: acoustic drums, pads, software rigs, lights, visuals—and enough stage energy to power a festival. His shows aren’t just concerts—they’re experiences. With a flair for live electronics, a background in managing international music events, and a passion for mentoring the next wave of artists, he’s on a mission to redefine what modern performance looks and sounds like.

The Mission Moving Forward

“I want to make music that deserves space and recognition,” EDruM says. That means growing his audience, locking in more live shows, and connecting with collaborators who are hungry for something real. If you’re a label, media outlet, producer, or booking agent, now’s your chance to catch a wave before it crests.

New Comers 2025: A new sheriff is in town. And he’s got a kick drum that doesn’t miss.
