Almere, The Netherlands – October 2025 – Dutch producer Halgurd (Allgood) is back with a powerful new collaboration alongside artist Kanimayo, delivering the standout single Freedom — a track that flawlessly blends old-school Hip-Hop, Lo-Fi, and Chill vibes. More than just a song, Freedom has quickly established itself as the kind of music that fits every setting: perfect for driving, running, working out, relaxing, or simply sparking fresh inspiration.

The synergy between Halgurd’s lush, detailed production and Kanimayo’s artistic presence makes Freedom a unique record that resonates across genres. It’s a track that uplifts, energizes, and inspires, while remaining grounded in the raw soul of Hip-Hop.

Building on the momentum of this release, Halgurd is preparing for his most ambitious project yet: the collaborative concept album Menu du Jour with rapper Ridicuul, dropping October 10, 2025 under the ChilledPunks label.

Inspired by the iconic Parisian restaurant Le Train Bleu, Menu du Jour is a playful yet carefully crafted body of work. The album artwork by Job Kind features Allgood as a waiter and Ridicuul as Mr. Bean, continuing the conceptual humor. Designed as a menu of music, the album presents eight tracks divided into “Main Menu” (lead tracks) and “Desserts” (instrumentals). With songs like Joie De Vivre, French Toast, French Kiss, and Jour Nonchalant, the project highlights Halgurd’s gift for creating immersive atmospheres while pushing Hip-Hop into fresh creative spaces.

About Halgurd (Allgood)

Based in Almere, The Netherlands, Halgurd’s production journey began in 2007, starting with bubbling remixes before developing a deep passion for Hip-Hop beats. Between 2012 and 2017, he volunteered at a local studio where he honed his craft under the guidance of a mentor who had worked with major names in the industry. Influenced by Hip-Hop, Lo-Fi, and Jazz, Halgurd has since carved out a distinctive sound that bridges underground grit with global appeal.

In November 2023, Almere celebrated 50 years of Hip-Hop with a special art poster featuring 100 influential contributors from the city — with Halgurd’s name proudly among them. Over the years, he has collaborated with a range of artists and secured placements on multiple editorial playlists, amassing millions of streams worldwide.
