Bobby Blakdout just dropped a new track with Kurupt and it’s called “MEMBERS ONLY” — and let me tell you, it SLAPS.
I’ve been following Bobby Blakdout for a minute now, and this might be one of my favorite releases yet. He’s always been known for doing his own thing, mixing crazy bass-heavy EDM with rap, and this one really brings both worlds together. The beat is dark and heavy, the vibe is gritty, and the energy is untouchable. And having Kurupt on the track? That’s legendary status. Like… this is the same Kurupt who helped shape West Coast hip-hop in the ’90s with Tha Dogg Pound — dude’s a rap god, and he delivers on this track like he never left the game.
If you don’t know, Bobby Blakdout was born in New York, now living in Florida, and he’s been absolutely tearing up the independent scene. He runs his own label, Blak’d Out, and no joke — his releases are always hitting the charts on Spotify and Apple iTunes. Dude really built this from the ground up. He’s even been dubbed the “Suge Knight of EDM” by The Source Magazine — and honestly, that title fits. Bobby moves with that kind of no-rules, take-no-prisoners energy.
He’s worked with some massive names too — Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Juicy J, Project Pat — and he’s linked with fire producers like Dirty Audio, Dabow, Gladez, and Hekler.
On the production side, Bobby Blakdout has been compared to some of the biggest names in dubstep—think Skrillex, Excision, Zomboy, Virtual Riot, Svdden Death, Borgore, Eptic, and Space Laces. That heavy, layered, distorted sound design he brings? It’s that level. It’s chaotic, cinematic, and completely unique to him.
The track itself is a whole experience. Bobby’s production hits with that eerie, movie-score tension and face-melting bass. Kurupt’s verse? Straight savage. It’s that real OG talk, and it rides perfectly over Bobby’s modern chaos. It’s like new school and old school had a secret meeting — and you just got invited.
This isn’t just a track. It’s a statement. And it’s only for the real ones.
