The journey of BLVKOUT started in 2021 when lead singer Jay Williz set out to create a new heavy rock band. Writing and producing his own music under the alias “JET BLÆCK”, he met members Zane Lambert (Drums) and Alè Lovo (Bass) through various projects. The trio was later completed with the addition of guitarist Willow Crosson, marking the inception of a dynamic 4-piece ensemble. With a treasure trove of songs ready to go, BLVKOUT was set to bring a Metalcore/Pop-Punk vibe to life.
The band hit the ground running with their debut single “Oh Well,” which quickly gained traction, racking up over 23,000 streams in just three weeks. Their success continued with a fan-favorite cover of Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy,” drawing in over 10,000 streams in a single week. Following these impressive feats, BLVKOUT won the “Top Punk Band in Northern California of 2023” and was invited to headline their first show at the legendary Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, California.
