Bigger Than Us is a creative collaboration project between Stephan Jacobs (aka BOSA) a producer with a long history of blending electronic music with organic, global influences, and Marieme a Senegalese-American powerhouse vocalist, esteemed lyricist and worldwide star.
The pair’s new project is set to unveil its debut EP, The Beginning on October 17th, building on the boundary-pushing, immersive euphoria that their solo music has revealed. A powerhouse vocalist and an evocative sonic creator, the duo blend electronic and organic, transporting listeners across the globe.
Right on time with a clear message, Marieme’s lyrics and soul-stirring voice are set to the deep harmonics and eclectic productions of Stephan Jacobs. Bigger Than Us’s sound transcends genre, crafting songs that invite listeners to dive deep into introspection with the understanding that love is a source and not a destination.
The masterminds share, “This project didn’t come from us, we just channelled the universe’s call for balance. Every time we were in the studio it was like entering a flow state where we were not bound by anything. This collaboration is truly bigger than us, it made us feel again and activated us and we’re honoured to be able to share it with everyone, it’s our dose of Love. ‘The Beginning’ EP is just the first offering. More than a sound, Bigger Than Us is pushing boundaries in the 3D space, using avatars in their visuals to showcase inner spatial journeys. Utilising their avatars, they explore ego and human connectivity, explaining thoughts beyond the physical realm. You’ll find them on an asteroid moving at the speed of love through the galaxy chipping away at that which moves them further from the highest versions of themselves.
With the release of their debut EP The Beginning, ‘Bigger Than Us’ manages to tell the story of humanity while keeping it in the present moment. The EP is a journey of compassion and understanding and how individuality in creation is the only way forward. The music breaks down the barriers that separate us from the source, guiding listeners on a journey of connection and self-discovery.
