Annie Jules, a Miami-born artist of Haitian descent, has been captivating audiences with her eclectic and soulful music. Her latest single, “Conqueror in Me”, released on March 28, 2025, is a bold testament to her mission: uplifting, healing, and inspiring listeners from all walks of life.
Born on May 18, 1988, Annie began her musical journey at the age of 10 when she taught herself to play the piano by ear. Her early exposure to a diverse soundscape—including gospel, jazz, classical, hip-hop, R&B, and Caribbean music—deeply influenced her artistry. Growing up in a Haitian household in Miami, surrounded by rich cultural rhythms, she found her voice and passion for storytelling through sound.
From marching band to jazz ensembles, Annie embraced every opportunity to expand her musical expression. Her talents didn’t go unnoticed—she won first place at the NAACP ACT-SO Competition in Miami for Musical Contemporary/Instrumental. Driven by purpose and passion, she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Music Production at Florida Memorial University. That academic foundation opened the doors to global stages, including a transformative performance experience in Brazil.
Annie’s career has flourished over the past 15 years. She’s collaborated with music icons like Damian Marley, Camila Cabello, and Bobby Valentino, and performed at prestigious events such as the Latin Billboard Music Awards and the Women Who Rock Awards in Nashville. Despite the industry’s fast-paced evolution, Annie remains grounded in her purpose: to connect with her audience while staying authentically herself.
What sets Annie apart is her genre-bending creativity. Her music is described as euphoric, eclectic, and soulful—blending elements of every genre into a single, harmonious experience. Her sound transcends boundaries, resonating with people from all ethnicities and walks of life. It’s music that not only sounds good but feels good—uplifting the spirit, speaking to the heart, and lighting a path through even the darkest moments.
Among her favorite creations is “Black Makes All Things Possible,” a powerful anthem celebrating cultural resilience and innovation. But her newest release, “Conqueror in Me,” stands closest to her heart. Written, produced, and recorded in her home studio, the song is a reflection of overcoming adversity through faith, perseverance, and purpose. “It was amazing, very euphoric and very uplifting,” she says about the recording experience. “It shows that with God, all things are possible.”
Annie’s creative process begins with a beat or melody, evolving organically as she allows inspiration to guide her. Her ideal recording vibe is tranquil yet charged with purpose—a space where music flows naturally, and every note serves the message. She dreams of future collaborations with artists like Victoria Monét, BUJU BANTON, H.E.R., Esperanza Spalding, Janelle Monáe, and DOECHII.
Looking ahead, Annie aspires to launch her own music and publishing label while establishing a school to nurture young talent. Her vision is not only to create art but to create legacy—empowering others to find their voice and use it boldly.
For aspiring artists, Annie’s message is clear: “Keep going no matter what the naysayers say about your sound or your uniqueness. We are all meant to stand out and be different. That’s what makes us truly artists. That’s what makes you last forever.”
As Annie continues her rise, her impact stretches far beyond music. She is a creator, a producer, a voice for healing, and a force for positive change. Her music is a safe haven—an emotional sanctuary that inspires courage, uplifts the soul, and reminds us all that within every one of us, there is a conqueror.
